Posted under online poker & poker games & poker tournaments

wpt
The most prominent Texas Hold’em businesses out there are becoming partners soon in what is predicted to be an extremely successful project. The incredibly successful poker site FullTiltPoker.net has just announced that they are going to be partnering with World Poker Tour for the following W.P.T. season. Full Tilt Poker is going to be the primary promoter of the World World Poker Tour Enterprises’ seventh season, and the poker website is scheduled to be presented in every single one of the episodes which can be enjoyed on Fox Sports Net channel. Fulltiltpoker will gain all the control of the educational pieces of the episodes.

Details of this accord have not been revealed yet, but the agreement will definitely be a great achievement. This contract will unite two exceptionally prominent poker businesses. World Poker Tour which is an important force on TV by way of F.S.N. and Full Tilt Poker which has an enormous online fan base, and a Texas Hold’em poker lineup including players who have amassed a total of 10 W.P.T.E. awards and 35 W.S.O.P. bracelets. Full Tilt Poker also supports many other Texas Hold’em players and now the online poker website has started presenting Texas Hold’em teaching also.

This merger is certain to draw in a brand new set of fans and is guaranteed to suit the fresh fame which Texas Hold’em poker is causing. This accord denotes W.P.T.E.’s forfeit of the online poker room industry as World Poker Tour Enterprises will most likely close their Texas Hold’em site WPT online. The pay to play page ClubWPT.com will more than likely stay open.

Preventing Interruptions as you are playing Online Poker

Posted under how to play poker & internet poker & poker games

poker
The rewards of online Texas Holdem versus real poker rooms are infinite, but with these rewards there are also a few troubles. Online Texas Holdem allows regular amateur players the possibility to try their luck in real poker tournaments with pro Texas Hold em players, but these beginner players must avoid any disturbances that could harm their opportunities to win lots of poker chips.

The majority of online Texas Holdem players become preoccupied by their surroundings, or possibly by the internet poker webpage they are playing on. These disturbances can actually cost them great hands and probably their well-deserved Texas Hold em chips. The game of Texas Holdem is a game of talent as well as total attention, no matter if you are playing at home, or in an actual brick and mortar casino.

Perhaps, the greatest error that internet poker players commit is by competing in more than one online poker table simultaneously. The better part of amateur internet poker players will feel that this is a good thought, but at the end of the day it could possibly workout to be a loss. This scheme of playing several online poker tables in sequence will divert your focus and ultimately cost you money. Remember that even the most skilled Texas Holdem players out there can commit harmful errors when directing their attention on a few Full Tilt Poker tables at once.

Any given online Texas Holdem poker player, may at any instant, discover themselves playing various internet poker tables at once, at the same time as they are watching the news, reading their favorite poker blogs, talking on the phone to friends etc. This is a state which should be avoided if you long to win poker games and meet the requirements for big Full Tilt Poker tournaments. Never forget to direct your attention on the other online poker player’s wagers, their actions, and your own online Texas Holdem poker hands if you want to be the best poker player.

The science of bluffing

Posted under Poker & how to play poker & party poker & poker games

According to the 2006 WSOP bracelet winner, Jamie Gold, he wants to be known as the best bluffer in the game of poker. But if his last tournament is any indication, his wish may not come true any time soon.

The site is the 2007 Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic held at the Las Vegas Bellagio Hotel and Casino in 2007. Featuring $50 - $100 blinds and a $15,000 buy-in, Darrell Dicken is just barely holding on. The seat 4 player has just raised his wager to $300, a minor increase with only one player biting the line. “I put him as being weak,” Jamie said, “I was thinking about raising, but instead I just called with a 10-3 of hearts to see what would happen.”

Jamie thought that Brad Booth would make a move, which he did. He re-raised to $1600 from the big blind. Gold had the idea that Booth had a good hand, but he was in a good position to make a move considering the quantity of dead money in the pot. Dicken folded, and the unknown in Seat 4 called Booth’s raise.

At this point there was more than $4000 in the pot, so Jamie raised the wager by $4000. His thought was, only if someone else had aces or kings there would be no chance they would make that call. Jamie’s strategy was to make a considerable move on the flop, as long as no ace came up. The second part of his plan was to get Booth to fold, which he did. Booth folded with pocket queens.

Coming out of the flop there was an ace of ace-6-5, two clubs. The player in seat 4 checked and Jamie bet $2000. Jamie’s primary thought was to make him think that he had clubs. Seat 4 tossed out a $10,000 chip, but didn’t say anything thus turning his raise into a call. Jamie’s thought was that seat 4 in all likelihood had an ace, but you have to look after it in case he hits his set on the upcoming card.

A 2 of hearts showed up on the turn, and Jamie folded to what he was thinking was a top pair kicker. Seat 4 displayed a king-jack off suit. Seat 4 beat Gold by bluffing with a superb hand, he created a terrific play and kept the bluff going all the way through to the finish.

New Poker TV Game Show Places Average People Alongside Professional Poker Stars

Posted under Poker & poker games & poker stars

The game of poker used to be a game accessible only in Sin City casinos or from video poker machines, but now it is more widespread than ever in Sin City thanks to the TV and the internet.

The famous Venetian Casino, is now betting on this popularity with its new audience-participation show called “The Real Deal!” in its Venetian Showroom, starting in October.

This new idea will join comedy and game show elements to entertain its live audience. The audience will also be able to take part in the popular game of Texas Holdem’ alongside the world’s best poker players.  There will be prizes for the audience including a chance to win 1$ million.

In “The Real Deal!” the audience members will play with players like Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth and Daniel Negreanu.  Around 10 professional players have already signed up for the poker game show.  The audience will be able to play along with the 90 minute game thanks to handheld, wireless, touch screen devices located on each seat.

“People who take a vacation in Sin City want to play poker,” Negreanu says, “but obviously they can’t play in a big game with the people like Doyle or Phil Hellmuth. But, in this show, they actually can.”  At the beginning of each show, six audience members will be chosen to sit at the poker table on stage with two professional players.   Each audience member is then involved in the action by being dealt a unique hand on their devices.  Everyone in the showroom is then involved in the action with big-screen monitors located on stage.

The show’s creators say that you don’t have to be a poker player to join in the game.  There are other ways to enhance your point total, that doesn’t involve playing poker necessarily.  Betting on the suit of the next poker card or trying to guess which state a particular audience member is from, are just some of the ways to come out a champion in poker in this game.

The show’s creators are also betting on the great personalities of the pro poker players to create some exciting moments.  Someone like Scotty Nguyen, the flamboyant five-time World Series of Poker winner, definitely knows about entertaining the crowd and should provide some memorable moments in this upcoming show .

Online Poker Legislation

Posted under Poker & internet poker & online poker & poker games & poker laws & poker rules

As more and more attacks occur from the United States government that try to eliminate the abilities of online poker rooms and online casinos to operate, it becomes readily apparent that the amounts of money invested into legal teams and representation for online poker rooms and casinos is highly justified.

While the law certainly affords online poker rooms and casinos on the Internet a tremendous level of buffer zones and comfort overall, it is sometimes difficult to provide the tremendous levels of legal counsel and representation that is required for these types of poker rooms and casinos on the Internet such as Fulltiltpoker.com to stay in business.  Without these types of legal teams and representation, these online gaming and gambling establishments would very quickly be found guilty of some esoteric crime or even some type of transgression that it has been made up on the spot and run out of business. Until the laws are repealed or heavily modified in some way, it would appear that the Internet poker rooms and casinos will continue to require the services of tremendous teams of lawyers to combat the endless stream of legislation and litigation that comes down the pike out of Washington in an attempt to criminalize online poker rooms and casinos out of business altogether.

This is actually fairly common operating procedure for the United States government which has gone after many different types of organizations over the years and put them out of business under extremely suspicious circumstances and underhanded manipulation of legal procedures. With the unstoppable juggernaut that is the United States government, it becomes nearly impossible for any type of entity, including the online poker sites and casinos, to combat this type of overwhelming attack and comprehensive approach to the criminalization of online gambling and gaming on the Web.  While there is already a law in place that prohibits United States residents from establishing a poker room or doing any type of gaming and gambling over the web, there are further laws in place that will soon prevent individuals from even competing in these types of gaming establishments on the Internet.

Due to the constant attacks from the United States government officials as well as legislators and lawmakers from around the country, online poker rooms and casinos have tremendous amounts of legal preparations on a regular basis that have to be attended to in order to effectively stay on top of the heap.

Critical decisions in online poker.

Posted under Poker & how to play poker & online poker & poker games

If I told you every critical decision in poker was actually an easy decision would you believe me? Probably not, but if you believe in your 6th sense and have inner balance and control then you can hear and listen to your gut feeling and follow through with your gut feeling. Your gut feeling or intuition can be your best friend if you believe in it, trust it and listen to it. Your intuition is that first feeling you get, the majority of people never believe or trust in there intuition and dismiss the feeling as just a thought and then think more and end up with no real confident answer or decision.

Everyone knows that one guy that seems to just to float through life and always gets so lucky, well that guy probably listens to his inner self. He’s probably laid back, never really worried or never panics just always seems so sure.

Your inner self isn’t the solution to all your problems and your gut feeling isn’t always right, just because your gut feeling isn’t always right it’s not correct to stop listening to it, you need to understand that your gut feeling is the best tool that will help your more times then not, so listen to it unconditionally.

You have most likely heard the miracle stories about sheep sensing stuff before it happens, or animals acting weird or behaving weird before major events happen. This is because animals rely on inner self; they trust and rely on instinct for survival. They don’t have time to thoroughly think things through or contemplate, they feel there gut trust it and react on it.

This is not to say that you shouldn’t think about decisions or problems and should just do what your first 6th sense is, because evaluation is an important and critical part of the decision making process. Going over all the variables presented to you to come up with a conclusion. So evaluation is important and should be done, but you should be able to feel your first natural instinct and let it play a major role in your decision making process. You should give your gut feeling maximum value on the list of variables that you consider when making a decision.

For the majority of people they will never be able to tap into there intuition or will never be able to know when they hear it or feel it, this is because in order to hear and listen your gut feeling you need to have balance in your mind and body, you need to have emotional control over yourself, you need to be in touch with your feelings. Everyone has instinct and gut feeling so if you don’t know what your gut feeling is it’s probably because your mind is clouded and cannot clearly identify when your gut feeling kicks in and talks to you.

Being able to hear and listen to your gut feeling can become a very powerful tool in your online poker playing, you have to listen to your gut though, the first instinct or thought you have is usually always the correct decision. Your mind is a powerful database more powerful then any computer and has a hard drive that stores every hand you play, every bet that people make, every situation that happens. So your gut feeling is usually what the mind feels based on your database of similar Texas Hold’em situations.

So practice listening to your self, identify when your gut tells you something and believe in it and use it in life, use it on the Hold’em tables. Hopefully this will help you improve your poker game and make you a better poker player.

Online Poker Room and Casino Strategy

Posted under Poker & casino poker & how to play poker & online poker & poker games & poker strategy

Competing against live human beings in online poker rooms and casinos has turned out to be an extremely popular activity on the Internet in recent years. With the available competition between live human beings fighting it out over real live cash on the web, online poker room and casino enthusiasts have come out of the woodwork to take part in these types of activities and events on the web. With this amazing popularity and overwhelming user base, it is easy to see how online poker rooms and casinos can earn as much income as they currently do on the web, thanks to the rabidly loyal fans and patrons of online poker rooms and casinos such as Fulltiltpoker.com. With more and more players joining the fold on a daily basis, it is interesting to note that many players are completely clueless as to how to effectively maximize their online poker room casino strategy.

First and foremost, many players come to the online poker room casino with the attitude that if they can win in the traditional Texas Hold’em poker tournament, that they can win at the online Texas Hold’em poker tournament as well. While this is true to some extent, and much of the skills and abilities from the traditional brick and mortar card player can be put to good use at online poker rooms and casinos such as Fulltiltpoker.com, it is also true that there is much to be learned about the differences between the two institutions.

Naturally, at the online poker room and casino, the player is unable to physically inspect their opponent, eliminating the ability to determine tells, the complex emotional reactions that players can tend to give off when dealt their cards. Without this important skill coming into play, it can be slightly difficult for poker room and casino players to accurately judge the level of competition online. But, with some experience and practice, it is a simple enough matter to learn to follow players around and keep track of weaker players in online poker rooms and casinos, making the necessity of exploiting tells completely unnecessary. Learning the player and their playing style is so easy on the Internet, in fact, that it is a common strategy and is used frequently to allow players to win against stiff competition. This method of learning all that you can about your opponent can pay off in big dividends.

Poker Share Rakeback

Posted under Poker & free online poker & online poker & poker games

Comparing rakeback programs on the Web can be a hassle, as many programs have hidden benefits that hold up to inspection better than others. While this may be true, the Poker Share rakeback sharing affiliate program is easy enough to analyze and ascertain whether or not the features that are offered there are right for the individual player. With this emphasis on comparing and locating the best rakeback sharing affiliate programs available on the Web, the player can find the sharing affiliate program that works best for them. While the rakeback sharing affiliate programs at online poker rooms and casinos frequently offer amazingly profitable perks in the form of bonus programs and promotions, it is important to compare the overall level of activity at each website independently, considering that without a strong level of activity and plenty of players creating new action at the online poker room and Casino, there is little chance that the player can find the level of competition that they need to continue earning successfully from their wagering on the Internet. Without this level of competition and steady incoming stream of new action, playing in the online poker room and Casino is literally pointless, as without the love and coming level of action, the player will never be able to earn consistently enough to make participation in the online poker room and casino worthwhile.

While comparing the rakeback program at Poker Share rakeback, it is naturally necessary to observe other types of rakeback sharing affiliate programs that offer similar benefits to the user and include any residual income program that allows the player to earn from the rakeback that is collected in every game. It is important to consider that nearly every rakeback sharing program is different in some obscure way, including the amounts of the rakeback as well as how they are compounded and how they are calculated in general. With the attempts by the user to ascertain which type of rakeback sharing affiliate program is best, it is often necessary to delve deeply into the online poker room casino website to ascertain whether or not the establishment provides the type of rakeback sharing affiliate program that works for the user.

Analyzing the rakeback sharing affiliate program at the Poker Share website and comparing it with other competing websites is a necessary step in choosing the best possible rake back sharing affiliate program for the player to utilize.
